So belated Seasons Greetings to our supporters, and all the very best to you all for 2017!

In terms of the Company’s agenda for the year, our key project is now finally decided under the headline, The Fields of Thyme – A Stage Musical, with a Working Script and shortlist of music / song material set for a Workshop outing by the end of May. The production is being developed for family entertainment, and will include children in the cast, whilst we’ll present the show in contemporary vein, including for scenes to be set against backdrop images and documentary film clips which have already been sourced; along with some excellent sound recordings of the wartime period.

In practical terms – in other words ‘being pragmatic’, we have plans to record the ‘obligatory’ radio friendly hit song: well it worked for Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice in Evita et al, not to forget with different writers for The Bodyguard and Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves! Therefore with our new recording - prov’ 'Do I Matter' (At All), we’ll showcase this, alongside the already respected work by Al Dutton in the demo ‘Now Mama’s Gone’; and hopefully our emerging body of work will begin to help find the necessary traction, so we can find shareholder finance and offer / see the show performed, initially, and most probably, by an amateur theatre company.

Regards

David Cohen

Although the company is not the publisher to this project, ‘yours truly’ is proud for his collaboration with Ian Gillan to be known, in a work which is already enjoying high star ratings and reviews, and is available on Kindle. Published as an update of the 1998 book, the new version is also planned for release in America (September), with other markets already in place through domestic translations in Japan and Finland.
